Çiçek Pasajı (Cité de Péra) on İstiklal Avenue
The Çiçek Pasajı is a 19th-century passage which is located on the İstiklal avenue, essentially known as the ‘Flower Passage’ in the native language. In French, it is translated as the Cité de Péra, and the doors of this location which opened in 1876. The passage is a diminished version of the Galleria located in Milan, Italy consisting of multiple pubs and restaurants.
The Çiçek Pasajı is also called the Hristaki Pasajı from its earlier years in history. The very first wine-house that opened up on this passage would be the Yorgo'nun Meyhanesi or the Yorgo’s Winehouse. The buildings are entirely decked up with flower shops which is why the name of Cité de Péra has been coined. The building was then completely restored in 1988 and was then thrown open to the public as a galleria of restaurants and bars.

Another famous street which is also called the French Street would be the Cezayir Sokağı is again famous for the affable bars and restaurants.
2004 witnessed a unique event called the United Buddy Bears Exhibition which is displayed at the Tepebaşı Pera Square is again located at Beyoğlu.

Another one of the most celebrated streets called Nevizade Street again consists of multiple historic restaurants and bars. Some of the other landmark restaurants are also based there at the Tünel Pasajı located at the adjacent Asmalımescit Street.

Some of the other extraordinary districts include İstiklal Avenue have been completed restored. Some of these include Cezayir Street located on the Galatasaray High School which is also known as the La Rue Française. It consists of multiple cafes, francophone restaurants all complete with French melodies. One of the famous restaurants present on Cezayir Street is the Artiste Terrasse offering beautiful panorama-based views of the entire district. It also includes the Hagia Sophia, the Topkapı Palace, the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, and the Galata Tower.
The Banks Street or the Bankalar Caddesi positioned on Beyoğlu’s Galata Quarter is one of the largest investments and financial centers in the Ottoman Empire.
The Caddesi also provides massive numbers of fast-food restaurant chains, and many of them are internationally based. Some of the familiar brands that are available include Burger King, McDonald's, Domino’s, Pizza Hut, etc, and so on and so forth. Some of the Turkish restaurant chains include the Simit Sarayi which like the name suggests provides the patrons with sesame-laced, ring-shaped pretzel bread also called as the Simit. They also serve some extraordinary cheese along with tea. There are multiple individual eating places as well that serves the delicious döner kebab.
There is a wide range of shops adorning the streets and the avenues over the entire neighborhood, which also consists of a business circle as well. One of the first “structural expressionism” style building called the Odakule was created in the 1970s. It was termed as the headquarters of the ISO or the İstanbul Sanayi Odası also called as the Istanbul Chamber of Industry. The address for this would be on the center of the İstiklal Avenue and Tepebaşı, which is again next to the famous Pera Museum on the Tepebaşı quarter.
Most of the buildings present in the Beyoğlu are mainly office spaces and prominent workshops that would be located on the street-sides mostly.
Landmarks

Pera Museum
As mentioned above, the Pera Museum is located on the Tepebaşı quarter at the neighborhood of Beyoğlu. The Istanbul Modern is again based on the Karaköy Port at the Bosphorus, and the Museum hosts multiple such exhibitions from some of the famous Turkish and the foreign artists as well.
The Ottoman Period is specifically focused on at the Pera Museum. Some of the famous artworks include the Turtle Trainer or the Kaplumbağa Terbiyecisi, created by Osman Hamdi Bey. The Pera Museum also hosts multiple such visiting exhibitions that include some of the greatest works from Rembrandt, the erstwhile Dutch painter.
