Types of Conversion on Residence Permit in Turkey
Type 1
Foreigners who are holding student residence permit and having valid conditions for family residence permit status, will be issued a residence permit to the Foreigners and they will also be benefitted from the granted student residence permit under the continuous conditions laid down for the student residence permit.
Type 2
Those foreigners having family residence permit and applying for student residence permit under the conditions their family residence permit will not be cancelled and he will be benefitted with the rights granted through student residence permit.
Type 3
Foreigners with work permit who wish to acquire for a student residence permit with the conditions levied upon will be granted student resident permit with the ranted benefits before transferring to the student residence permit.
Type 4
Those foreigners having a residence permit on humanitarian ground or a residence permit for victims of human trafficking can acquire the student residence permit under the satisfactory conditions and the rights of benefits will be applied for student residence permit.
Type 5
The right of transfer for long term residence permit are not eligible for those foreigners under temporary protection or humanitarian residence permit holders under the Article 42 of the Law numbered 6458: of refugees, conditional refugees and subsidiary protection beneficiaries.
